Black neurosurgeon delivers stunning critique of Obama’s America

Yesterday, February 7, 2013, at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., the keynote speaker was Dr. Benjamin Carson.

Dr. Benjamin Solomon Carson Sr., 61, is the real deal — a neurosurgeon and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Carson also just happens to be black — who is a Christian, a cultural and economic conservative, and a true patriot who loves the American Revolution, the flag, and America.

Watch and listen to him begin his speech by quoting from the Bible. Then Dr. Carson excoriates the tyranny of political correctness, calling it a “dangerous” and “horrible thing” that has led to such ridiculous fears as wishing people Merry Christmas. Political correctness muzzles us into a false “unanimity of thought” and “unanimity of expression” that prevents us from talking about the important things.

He talks about the moral decay of Americans, and cautions us of a Rome-like fate, and — in front of Obama sitting just feet from the podium — confronts the issue of America’s debt and current fiscal policy:

“Our deficit is a big problem. Think about it — and our national debt — $16 and a half trillion dollars…. What about our taxation system — so complex there is no one that can possibly comply with every jot and tittle. When I pick up my Bible, you know what I see? I see the fairest individual in the universe — God — and he’s given us a system. It’s called tithe.”

Watch the POS’s reaction.

Dr. Carson was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised by his single mother, Sonya Carson. He struggled academically throughout elementary school, but started to excel in middle school and throughout high school. After graduating with honors from Southwestern High School, he attended Yale University, where he earned a degree in Psychology. From Yale, he attended University of Michigan Medical School.

At age 33, he became the youngest major division director in Johns Hopkins history, as Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery. In 1987, Carson made medical history by being the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins (the Binder twins) who had been joined at the back of the head.

The recipient of numerous awards and honors, Dr. Carson has written four bestselling books published by Zondervan, an international Christian media and publishing company: Gifted Hands, The Big Picture, Take the Risk, and Think Big. The first book is an autobiography and two are about his personal philosophies of success that incorporate hard work and a faith in God. Carson is a Seventh-day Adventist who does not believe in evolution.

A video documentary about Carson’s life titled Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story was released by Zondervan in 1992. Subsequently in 2009, a separate television movie with the same title premiered on TNT on February 7, 2009.

If Dr. Carson runs for the presidency, I will vote for him — in a heartbeat.

  1. The Doc . has more of a thought process than the p.o.t.u.s.could ever dream of .

  2. As a devout racist, I would not only vote for Dr. Carson for President of the United States of America, I would campaign heavily and support him in any way I could.

  3. Reblogged this on Thepoliticalchef's Blog and commented:
I am re-reblogging this because I love to watch Barry’s face during the entire speech…

this was the type of man we all thought we voted for !!
    amazing guy
thanks for post i’ll be following him ,,,,

    • I agree with everything Miss Priss said. Any retard could tell Obama was the most radically anti-Christian, anti-Israel, pro-Islam, pro-murder-of-children, pro-homosexuality, anti-freedom, anti-American candidate.

  5. @dominiquo4….What exactly in Obama’s life history made you think he was “the type of man we all thought we voted for”? Did you expect that he was a Christian? Really? While he mocked The Bible, or voted 3 times against the infants born alive protection act (or whatever it was called). What successes had he had that made you think he would be a great leader? Was he ever honest about his youth, or did he hide everything? There is nothing about Obama that is even remotely close to this inspirational man, except their skin color.

  6. Wow! Still patriots out there, we need about 600 like him {535 plus executive branch plus 9 SCOTUS}, great post Dr. Eowyn

  7. Gotta love this guy!

  8. Where has he been ‘hiding’ ?
    More! More!

  9. Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this wonderful post telling us about Dr. Benjamin Carson. This man said that Jesus was his role model; need I say more than this that sets forth his greatness as a man, a physician and an American. I watched the king look at him throughout the speech and his body language was so clear. The king failed to clap for him whilst he was giving his speech for important points that he had made, and the king oftentimes looked down. Dr. Carson’s ethics and mindset are completely at odds with the king’s ethics and mindset. It was a great joy to me to watch and listen to Dr. Carson.

  10. Ironically, the movie, “Gifted Hands” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. In the role of Dr. Carson was aired a week before his speech. A beautiful man and a beautiful mind.

  11. Im pretty sure i saw SMOKE coming from obummers’s ears as Doc gave his words of wisdom to the nation! Dr. Carson, thank you from all of us!

  12. It is refreshing to see an American speak the truth at such an important meeting. Hope many ears were open to HEAR!

  13. You know what I think is funny? Whoever chose this man to speak did NOT vet him or they would have known he was a man of integrity, honor and patriotism—and a Christian, to boot!–and would never have chosen him to speak. The glaring differences between this man and the other man on the stage is palpable. It’s ironic: The people our Pres. surrounds himself with for their advice and guidance chose this man to speak simply because of the color of his skin. In their weak minds, if he’s black, he’s on board. Now who’s the racist. I’m laughing at how the ineptness of this administration actually did something good–unintentionally, of course!

  14. God has a great sense of humor!
