They Still Do Not Get It

According to Drudge, this is the list of moderators for the upcoming presidential debates:

PBS Jim Lehrer, first Pres debate, Oct 3 Denver…
CNN Candy Crowley, town hall, Oct 16, Hempstead NY…
CBS Bob Schieffer, third Pres debate, Oct. 22, Boca Raton…
ABC Martha Raddatz, VP debate, Oct 11, Danville KY…

I am not sure who the idiot moron in the GOP hierarchy is that continues to agree to allow debates to be moderated by Obamabot MSM types, but they need to be run off – and fast.

It appears the republican establishment is perfectly willing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.

  1. Those four gems should be un-invited pronto! Why is the GOP acting like FNC is a collection of potted plants?

Just love the irony of the word “moderater”, verb origin aside. Moderate — yeah, right…I mean, LEFT! Here’s a new title: “extremator”.

Love that last turn of phrase, Dave!

  2. At least Romney chose Paul Ryan, and not Lindsay Graham, so we have some evidence this is not a Rino ticket. That being said, I agree we need perform an exorcism on the GOP as soon as possible.

  3. I have never understood why debate organizers do not insist on a professional, nonpartisan expert to act as moderator and and not some media hack. Candidates from both parties would benefit from objectivity.

  4. Some people are saying Romney is a sell out like McCain was. I certainly hope not or this country is done. McCain even said during the campaign that Obama would be a good president. What a spineless loser he was. I don’t care if he was a war hero, He was a sell out.

    • I don’t think there could ever be another Juan McCain ,
      at least here’s hoping.
Why does the RNC/GOP keep doing this…it’s like they’ve been
infiltrated and taken over.Maybe it’s just what happens when
      one compromise on principles

  5. Who SHOULD moderate, Dave? I challenge you intellect.

  6. Thank you Dave for this post to remind us of what we are up against in the media. But everybody knows about this bias – and it is my hope that people will remember that the mainstream media is a sell-out, their moderators and similar folks. However, Romney is not stupid and Paul Ryan is as frank as they come! I am looking forward to the debates!

  7. I think what will happen, give or take another 20 to 40 years (assuming the world is still here!) is this: The demographics of America will change beyond the critical mass. Caucasians will be in the minority, and the social fabric of America, if not the political structures themselves, will become Balkanized. And this will be seen as the “new normal.”
At that point, new political parties will begin to emerge and duke it out for supremacy. Let’s face it: I think both parties know they’re pretty much doomed, and that it’s just a matter of time. So at this point, what motivation is there to reform or clean up their acts?
But first things first: The economy of America will collapse. It will implode. At that point, the possibility is very real that the government itself will collapse. And that, believe it or not, could turn out to be a good thing. We will still be rolled into global governance—it’s inescapable at this point—but we could get rid of the “dead wood” in Washington. That would provide some “analgesic relief.”

  8. You don’t get it Dave! The GOP needs to stop the wars and spending, or else the dems will hammer the last nail into the coffin.
