A Question For the Media

H/t beloved Fellow May!

America’s media. What a terrific group of dedicated professionals!

It is remarkable that within a week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair in the last few years, with photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc.

And, the press not only know the cause of the family fight, they even know it was a wedge from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade. Not only that, they know which wedge!

And each and every day, they give America more updates on his sex-rehab stay, his wife’s plans for divorce, and the dates and tournaments he will play in.

Obama has been in office for nearly 18 months now, and this same press:

  • Still cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors.
  • Or find any of his pre-Michelle girl friends.
  • Or locate any of Obama the Genius’s college papers or grades — not even from his kindergarten!
  • Or find even one professor or student at Columbia University who remembers the charismatic super-smart black dude with the dazzling smile.
  • Or how he paid for that expensive education at Columbia and Harvard Law.
  • Or which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980s.
  • Or find even one student who had taken a class from him at University of Chicago Law School.
  • Or Michelle Obama’s Princeton U. thesis on racism.
  • Or what led her to not renew her law license.

They just can’t seem to find them!!!

Yet the American people still trust that same press to give them the whole truth!

Truly remarkable!!!

  1. It truly is deplorable – the lack of curiosity by the media! Are the other stories more “fun” and easier to cover? The real news, which is what we Americans should be hearing, is, perhaps, more risky to obtain? Setting aside the definite liberal bias of the press, one has to admit that there may have been threats made by the BHO camp………

Whatever the cause, there is no question that the press is complicit in the decline of our country. There are probably no laws to hold them responsible either.

    Very good article!

  2. Oh, yes. The same press had all of “Joe the Plumber’s” dirt within hours of him daring to question The One – his work history, credentials as a plumber, tax history, etc. The same press, which came unhinged when Bush spoke at Bob Jone’s U., didn’t seem too concerned about Obama’s 20-year affair with pastor Wright, who ASKED God to damn America. Nope, nothing here folks. Move along.

  3. Ah, The Snub (a.k.a., “liberal debate”); ignore it and it won’t exist.

  4. SRM is a MAJOR fail…I hope they all choke on their words come this November…

  5. Back in my early teens, an extended family member of mine, who knew of my then budding interest in current events/politics/history, etc., once pulled me aside at a family picnic.

He was not the most formally educated person in the world, in fact, he had dropped out of college during his sophomore year because he just couldn’t take it.

No, it wasn’t the work he couldn’t take, but the rank stupidity of those around him, and that included his instructors.

He read voraciously from a very early age, served honorably in the military, and could probably have held his own against many profs with a wall full of paper with pretty writing on it.

He was one of the most intelligent people I have ever known.

Anyway, his point to me that day was that I would live to see a time when Americans would be literally out hunting politicians with dogs and guns, and I would probably see this sometime around the age of fifty.

I turned 46 this past March.

At first, I didn’t really grasp what he was saying, but as the years have passed, I have thought about it more and more, and have come to realize how wise he truly was.

I also think that, if he were still around today (he ultimately died from alcoholism – which makes sense in a certain way) he would have included not just politicians in his prediction, but their media enablers as well.
