Two years ago today, on December 23, 2009, Fellowship of the Minds (FOTM) was born.
From that day through the end of the year, FOTM logged a grand total of 1,476 hits or views. LOL
Flash forward two years to today.
As of 5:10 p.m. (west coast), December 22, 2011, FOTM can claim a total of 3,010,868 hits. Not bad for a little non-commercial blog that’s staffed by a small team of volunteers who get paid $0 for their time and labor.
For that we have you, dear readers, to thank.

Yes, I mean you across the fruited plains from sea to shining sea in the 50 constituent states of the United States of America.
Yes, I mean you, our neighbors to the north in Canada and to the south in Mexico.
I mean you, our cultural brothers and sisters “across the pond” in the United Kingdom, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
I mean you, over there in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Eurasia, Asia, the Pacific, the Caribbean, South and Central Americas.
I mean you, in the Holy See in Vatican City. 😉
And I especially mean you, America’s brave sons and daughters serving overseas.
(For a list of our readers’ countries and places, click here!)
On behalf of all the writers of the Fellowship — Steve, Joan, DCG, lowtechgrannie, Tom in NC (aka catscanner150), sage_brush, and Dave — I thank you for your attention, your scintillating comments, and your newstips.
Now, let’s go kick some “Progressive” butts and take America back. The most important election of our lifetime is only eleven months away.
For God and country!

  1. Amen.

  2. Terry,
Maybe the Congo guy can contact his lonely counterpart in Cuba. LOL

  3. Yay for one of my most favorite sites! I probably count for all 11,000 hits in MD 🙂

  4. I wanted to keep our Second Anniversary post compact and so did not publicly thank the writers of FOTM. But I did send them a private e-mail thanking them for their selfless and tireless labors. Of all the writers, I’m most grateful to and dependent on Steve. He was with me at the very beginning when, within 24 hours after leaving another blog, we founded FOTM. I truly, honestly couldn’t have done it without Steve — without his humor that unfailingly lights up the darkness and his Samwise Gamgee-like steadfast loyalty.
I have just one question for my best bud:

    Who is Page?

(“Most of all I want to thank Dcg, Tom, Page, Grannie, and Dave.”)

  5. Stung by your observation, Terry, I have made an executive decision for FOTM:
Our lofty goal for this next year – Increase the number of hits from the great land of Congo by at least one.
    there's no there in Congo

  6. Love All you guys!!! I feel at home here each and every day! keep up good work. You are appreciated.

  7. Wow 2years already? Time flies when you are having fun!
It’s been a fun ride so far…appreciate all our followers, and even the trolls 🙂

  8. Good luck with “that” Terry, unfortunately you may need an anatomical change to get that voice up in the soprano range ;-\ …

  9. I don’t remember how I ended up at FOTM, but I am so thankful I did. This site, by far, is my favorite. You all do such a great job, and I am so happy you are getting rich off of it (spiritually speaking 🙂 ) Thnaks so much for all your posts and comments, I love you all…

  10. Congratulations! to my favorite blog!! if you search for truth you will find it here! Humor to brighten your day,you will find it here! Just a fantastic bunch of good people. All in the good fight for America. One battle at a time and sometimes several irons in the fire! God Bless you all,Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s. Buckle up Warriors! We are in for the fight of our life. We will prevail.

  11. I want to say how much of an honor it has been to be a part of FOTM. We are all brothers and sisters fighting a battle against evil in many different forms, and with the help of Our Lord, the Blessed Mother and the Church Triumphant, we will win this battle, we will take our country away from the culture of death, into the Culture of Life.
Most of all, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart, and with the depths of my intellect and soul, Dr. Eowyn, my chosen sister and the leader of FOTM. She is loving, brilliant, determined, thoughtful, keenly insightful and just absolutely wonderful! I thank God every day for her.
I also want to thank with great sincerity and love, Steve, who is a wonderful man, an inspiration because of his goodness and loyalty. And, I want to thank the writers of FOTM, for their wonderful ideas, insights and hard work. You are truly, as Pope Leo put it, “the servants of the servants of God.” I can give no greater compliment to you all.
Finally, thank you to all of the readers and viewers of FOTM. We welcome you with open arms and extend our best wishes and heartfelt prayers to all of you. May God continue to bless everyone, may Our Blessed Mother continue to watch and care for you, and may all of the angels and the saints assist you. And my final gratitude and complete extension of love goes to St. Michael the Archangel, to whom his patronage of FOTM is so much appreciated, such a magnificent and fabulous Angel of Angels, (AOL: Angels On Line!!) WE LOVE YOU!

  12. Merry Christmas Sage…
