19 reasons not to do Halloween, a Satanic ‘holy’ day

Rate this post

Today is Halloween — a “festival” that years ago became something very different from the Halloween FOTM‘s readers remember from childhood, not that Halloween had ever been innocent.

Halloween has become America’s most popular and “celebrated” holiday, as indicated in the outside decorations of homes. In my neighborhood and city, Halloween decorations far outnumber Christmas decorations — a sad commentary on how much Americans have fallen.

I find Halloween repugnant.

The least of the reasons why I find this day repellent is because Halloween has become yet another occasion for wasteful, pointless “spend, spend, spend” consumerism — on candies (that rot kids’ teeth), costumes, masks, and truly sick Halloween theme parks like this one:

End of the American Dream blogger Michael Snyder writes that he no longer celebrates Halloween because —

“it is a wretched, horrible holiday that celebrates the darkest side of humanity, and it is deeply rooted in ancient pagan traditions that would get people thrown in prison if they attempted to duplicate them today. With each passing year, the sexually suggestive costumes being marketed to our young girls become even skankier, the horror movies become darker and even more demonic, and the number of Americans that participate in occult ceremonies just continues to grow. In fact, it has been estimated that the number of self-identified witches in the United States is doubling every 30 months. Those that are deeply into the occult take this holiday very seriously, and the dark forces that they are dealing with are very real. So no, I don’t want anything to do with this festival of death.”

Below are Snyder’s 18 reasons why he doesn’t celebrate Halloween, followed by reason #19, an account by a former Satanist.

1. Halloween celebrates death, witchcraft and the occult, all of which can open up a door for demonic activity.

2. In 2015, the average American spent $74.34 on Halloween, money that many don’t have to waste.

3. Millions of women use Halloween as an excuse to dress like street walkers, and millions of men use Halloween as an excuse to act like sexual predators.

4. Little girls as young as three years old are being dressed up in sexually provocative costumes, grooming them for what?

5. Dressing up little children as ghosts, demons and vampires is not innocent fun. In recent years, there has been a trend to make costumes for children as hellish as possible.

6. Did you know that the original purpose to dress up in costumes on October 31 was “to change the personality of the wearer to allow for communication with the spirit world“? For 11 years in a row, dressing up as a witch has been the number one costume choice for adults in the United States.

Note: No wonder the number of self-identified witches has skyrocketed in recent years, from 8,000 in 1990 to 340,000 in 2008, a year that also found roughly 340,000 self-described Pagans. Currently, nearly one million Americans identify themselves as Wiccans or Pagans. (See “Thousands of witches to put a hex on Justice Kavanaugh, Oct. 20”)

7. In ancient Britain, the festival known as Samhain was celebrated on October 31 — a day when dead souls are believed to revisit their old homes. Personally, I don’t want anything to do with contacting the souls of the dead.

8. According to the History Channel, Samhain was also the day when the Druids “gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities,” which should be anathema to Christians.

9. Samhain/Halloween is a high day for wiccans. Did you know that Wicca is the fastest growing religion in America? According to the American Religious Identification Survey, the number of self-identified Wiccans in the United States grew from 8,000 in 1990 to 134,000 in 2001 to 342,000 in 2008. According to The New York Post, some experts have estimated that the number of witches in the U.S. is doubling every 30 months, and that there may now be “8 million undeclared practitioners” of “the craft” in this country. At this rate, Wicca will soon become the third largest “religion” in America after Christianity and Islam.

10. Wiccans believe Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, and that on this day their god “dies” and is reborn every year on the Winter Solstice, which will be December 22 this year.

11. For the ancient Druids, the purpose of Samhain or Halloween was to ensure the return of the sun god, with human and animal sacrifices. According to occult expert Bill Schnoebelen:

Druids worshiped the sun god, called by names like Bel (Ba’al?) or Chrom. On October 31, they believed that he died and went into the kingdom of the dead, Anwynn. The purpose of Samhain was to insure his return. Even witches admit this involved human sacrifice.

Both animal and human blood were believed to be needed to resurrect Bel on Samhain. Human blood was believed to open the gates of Anwynn and released the spirits for a night. Thus, October 31 came to be associated with ghosts. This is not just history. Samhain is still celebrated by Pagans and is the most solemn ceremony on their “religious calendar”.

12. To this day, animal torture and sacrifice are practiced on Halloween by occultists. Many animal shelters will not adopt out black cats during the month of October for this very reason.

13. The pagan holiday of Samhain was co-opted by Pope Gregory the First in 601 A.D. in an effort to “christianize” existing pagan holiday and practices, rather than try to obliterate them. Thus, Samhain became All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween.

14. The tradition of “trick-or-treating” in costumes and masks is also one of those existing pagan traditions that was later “Christianized”. The ancient Druids believed that Halloween was a night when mischievous and evil spirits roamed freely and could play tricks on the living. To allay them, villagers would pacify the ghosts with a banquet-laden table. At the end of the feast, masked and costumed villagers would parade to the outskirts of town leading the ghosts away. The masks and costumes were to scare away the ghosts or to keep from being recognized by them.

15. The tradition of carving out a “Jack-O-Lantern” also comes from paganism. According to wicca.com, turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos when the Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was not advised. Bill Schnoebelen explains that pumpkins eventually replaced turnips, but the meaning remained the same:

Here it’s a pumpkin, but in Europe it was often a turnip, or a skull with a candle in it. This serves two symbols, 1) the lord of the Dead, a “god” just like a Buddha – in short, an idol. 2) The fearsome face represented the god, Samhain, who would drive off less powerful demons that night. The lights in the Jack-o-Lantern symbolize the “faery fires” or “Will’o the Wisps” which were believed to be the lost souls flitting through the night. They also hearken back to the huge Samhain “balefires” which were lit to help conjure back the god from the darkness.

16. On all Satanic “holy” (a oxymoron!) days, including Halloween, children are ritually abused. This has been documented repeatedly, and yet most people (including most Christians) don’t want to hear about it.

17. For Satanists, Halloween is one of the most important celebrations of the year. On page 96 of the Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey wrote that “After one’s own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht (May 1st) and Halloween.”

18. The Scriptures command us in no uncertain terms to refrain from paganism and witchcraft. Deuteronomy 18:9-13 says: “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults with the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord”. Halloween, however, as explained above, was and is a pagan festival, as well as a major Satanic holiday.

19. A former satanist named David Arias said “it’s no coincidence” that his descent into occultism began with attending a rock concert on Halloween when he was 18 years old:

That beginning led to “underground parties” in empty warehouses. There was rock music, drugs and secret rituals in “special places” of the warehouse. The organizers downplayed the rituals, trying to make them seem normal, but they were actually Satanic. Evil was being invited into the bodies and souls of the unsuspecting partiers.

Through these parties I got deeper into the dark world of Satanism. I learned that Satan wants to be like God, so he requires sacrifices to be offered to him. The most basic and common sacrifices were of animals. I participated in these and other evil rituals for almost four years, but I could not bring myself to kill a human being, which is required to make it to the highest . . . level of Satanism.

The easiest way to kill someone is through abortion because the baby has no defense. You can kill babies anytime you want in this country, as long as they’re still inside the womb. We had an abortionist in our group who knew exactly what abortion was about: sacrificing innocent lives to Satan. Abortion is an anti-sacrament.

Arias, who became a Catholic convert, warns about Halloween:

This is a special day for darkness, and it shouldn’t be treated as a game, like I did. It is a demonic celebration used as a tool to gain souls for hell….

People make their homes look like haunted cemeteries.… This invites evil spirits inside. It’s really simple: If you want to attract evil, you put up depictions of evil. If you want to attract good, you put up depictions of good.

Arias urges that Christians, instead of celebrating the satanic pagan high day of Halloween, “read the Bible; teach your children about the Church; donate something to the poor.”

  1. The original Samhain aka “Halloween” has been taken over and warped for the Cultural Marxist global agenda. The liberal/Bolshevik beloved Cultural Engineer Alfred Kinsey, who is the “father” of the Cultural Marxist sexual deviant “revolution” was not only a pedophile, but a Crowleyite. This all ties in with the Military Intell/Frankfurt School cultural engineering “60’s Revolution” spearheaded by the “Psychedelic Music” of the 1960’s.

    Sex Experiments of Alfred Kinsey

  2. Will come a day when the evil spirits will be released upon humanity, normies think its a play, well they will get this ,,play,, ,i pray God to have mercy, and delay those days as much as possible!God Bless You All!

  3. The video shows lots of dismembered dolls, maybe more than anything else, and a few mannequins for dissection. There’s even a symbolically programmed, spider-like mechanical contraption with a doll baby’s head being slavishly looped through a program routine, altogether announcing Satanic plans to create programmed children, and obviously well beyond what’s going on already in our radically intolerant PC schools.

As for programmed adults, in at least one neighborhood in Bradenton, Florida, where beyond low-class but now somewhat monied parents put on front yard horror shows, there was a chainsaw massacre for the tykes a few years back so realistic that innocent children had nightmares for years. If the msm tell today’s programmed parents that this Satanic symbolism and stuff like sexualizing or dismembering babes is just for fun, then there’s blank-out cognitive dissonance when their own children are traumatized, and these parents do absolutely nothing.

Other articles today mention the 70s Rothschild ball using broken baby doll parts and dissected adult mannequins as table centerpieces—that is, the masses serving as future industrial-like raw materials to create classes of golems or as limb and organ farms for the elites, while in the here and now serving as blood sacrifices to Baphomet. Vigilant Citizen has an article tying Podesta, and by implication, this country’s leftist elites into it all.

It’s also worth tying in the extraordinarily evil social engineering going on under the direction of viciously anti-family radical lesbians like Commissar Carol Bellamy and the cabal of radical homos running the UN’s Marxist radicalization of third world women through UNESCO and UNICEF. So, not only are kids saturated with pure evil this evening, they’re also brainwashed into calling it all just good fun, while they’re also taught they can “make a difference” extorting money for a UN, demonstrably conceived as Luciferian, by shaming adults who offer them candy.

  4. First of all, lets look at the name Halloween. If you say the Our Father, you shall notice the SAME words Hallow be thy Name. Hallow is OLD ENGLISH for HOLY. Ween is old English for EVE or the Day Before ALL SAINTS DAY!
Since the time people were on earth many societies began a religion (Latin= Duty) Because there were so many societies, EVERY DAY OF THE CALENDAR WAS CELEBRATED AS A PAGAN HOLIDAY! Pagan = From the Land. Now when GOD started HIS Church, remember WHO is more powerful GOD or man. I KNOW GOD is THE MAN! So to over come the pagan holiday, the Church substituted that day as a Holy Day the day before All SAINTS day. (Everyone on Heaven is a Saint or HOLY from the Latin word.) To Celebrate Halloween, as a Christian Holiday is well and good, because it is celebrating the GOOD OF GOD over the FORCES of SATAN.

    • Snake, this is pretty much how my family and community were taught about Halloween. It was always a three-part holiday…
Halloween, All Saints Day and All Souls Day. I was raised Roman Catholic. To some people, being Roman Catholic is diabolical. Go figure.

      • I also am Roman Catholic, and was taught as I ascribed. I also write apologetic but ONLY one subject at a time. Finished Purgatory, which many Protestants grumble but after reading the scripture, they cannot disagree. If you desire a copy write shubaolin@gmx.com I shall shoot it over via email. Wrote a history of the Bible which was to be 3 pages but now over 250+ pages

        Your Brother in Christ

        • I agree. I have a special interest in the British isles, and have studied quite a bit about the folk customs. Trick-or Treating did not come from the Druids. Souling and wassailing customs were practiced from Hallow’s eve until 12th Night. Village bakers made “soul cakes” a type of hot cross bun, around All Soul’s Day. Villagers went from door to door, singing dogerel, and promising a prayer for the soul of anyone who would give them a soul cake. Often they would wear costumes and act out short plays and skits.

The story of Jack-O-lantern above I have never heard. The authentic legend from Britain is that a bad man named Jack died and was refused entrance into heaven. He then out-witted the devil to escape hell. With no place else to go, he is doomed to wander the earth ’til Judgement Day, with only a coal inside a hollowed out turnip for a light.

Walpurgisnacht is not May 1st. It is known also as May eve. Beltane is May 1st. these two dates are The big satanic dates of the year, at least what I have found in my research. The last ten days of April are for blood sacrifice. It usually starts with some huge horror. Go back over the last 30 years and count how many blood-letting false flags have been staged during that time period. So many have happened on April 20th folks have speculated it was because that was Hitler’s birthday. No, It’s because that day marks the beginning of the Global Elite’s most important time if the year. Probably their hatred of the Easter season plays into it at some level.

I have watched some if Schnoebelen’s videos, and I don’t trust the guy. He claims to have come out of Satanism into Christianity, but he actually came out into Mormanism, which is a form of Gnosticism. He was a Morman for years. Now he seems to be practicing some form of hybred Judism/Christianity. He has never, to my knowledge, ever spoken of the black magic in Kabalah.

Satanism now seems to have the upper-hand in all worldly things, but this is only temporary. Remain faithful to Jesus Christ, but do your OWN research, rather than blindly following some ignorant pastor with no descernment. And by the way, Yule is also a Satanic holiday requiring blood sacrifice as well; and the “Christmas tree” is a pagan custom. The way Americans celebrate Christmas is way more in line with the Roman winter holiday of Saturnalia, then any real kind of celebration of the Nativity.

  5. Turn off all interior and exterior house lights viewable from the street tonight, that usually keeps any from knocking except a rare few, and for those just act like you didn’t hear the bell and they will go away after a few minutes.

  6. I’m going to fill a plastic pumpkin with turds and put it out front with a note on it that says free shit.

  7. We have two black cats (and three total). ALL of them will remain in the house tonight, as they do every Halloween. Too many sick freaks out there…

    • In Japan black cats are considered lucky and blessed felines!

Black cats have troubles getting adopted in shelters due to all the perverse Halloween nonsense our culture is indoctrinated with.

I had a sweet black cat who loved everybody, even the male bully cat strays who joined our household!

  8. I’ve been growing in the Lord and I have to say that this year I’m particularly unsettled by all of the chicanery and blatant spiritualism/Satanism.

  9. Halloween used to be great when I was a kid. Then, after I went to Boys Town, we didn’t celebrate it any more. So I prefer the memories.

As for what Michael Snyder and Bill Schnoeblen document, I’ve read it and heard it before, but it bears repeating. But let us also remember what we once didn’t know: That Winston Churchill, for example, was a Druid. This may still be common in ruling elites to this day. And let us not forget Freemasonry and the Bohemian Grove, and all the rest.

Here in NYC, Halloween seems more like a holiday for the college crowd with their parties. I haven’t seen the numbers of children out there, with their parents, trick or treating, for quite a while now. Things in other locales may be different, however.

  10. All the good and love focused indigenous traditions have been co-opted and perverted by neo-pagans and Satanists.

Samhain and All Soul’s Day are powerful times to pray and meditate upon loved ones and community members who died in the past year. The dimension of the higher realms where they exist and ours becomes more permeable and it is easier to connect with them. Send love and prayers to all the lovely folks who are no longer part of this physical realm but have moved on, as well as beloved pets.

  11. “I find Halloween repugnant.”

And a great list of reminders as to WHY.

No way the two words Hallow & Ween will convince me otherwise. God authored Scripture. He did not author the “hellyday” Halloween, nor did He author the name of it.

It is “Satan himself [who] keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.”

  12. PS: I meant to add: Halloween even “affects” Politics.

In Fall 2016 I learned from Bill Mitchell tweets that Presidential Election Forecasters have always known that whichever-Presidential-Candidate Halloween Costumes sell the most is a huge “hint” as to who will win the election.

And supposedly, Trump-style Halloween costumes sold more than any other candidate costumes for Halloween 2016.

  13. Parents that dress their kids up as demonic ghouls, and then send them out to beg for food, (often to strangers’ residences),
    are disgusting.

By encouraging their children to participate in this “give us food, or we will toilet paper your house”, they are basically encouraging their kids to disrespect other peoples homes, property, and boundaries of normal behavior.

Stupid “Christians” that invite this shttt into their “church” are advertising for the dark kingdom to enter through the front door, leaving it wide open for sickness and disease to come upon the people.

Dr. Eowyn and Michael Synder have it absolutely right: this is a dark, dark space of time in which evil things of this world and beyond are held up to be “harmless and fun”: They are not; it is evil incarnate.

  14. A new thing for Halloween, is to receive a “spooky basket” – like an Easter basket, but Halloween-themed.

The Easter basket is pagan in origin, too.

  15. I would encourage other readers to not retreat into their houses on this night, if any are thinking of doing so, rather combat the evilness with as much Good as you can muster, don’t go putting your light under a basket because the devil thinks he owns a night or a day (God made time. and every second, minute, hour, and day in it, it is properly God’s property, even the night. This is also an ideal time to speak of God’s generosity, and kindness, no?) the effort the devil worshipers have put into stealing this, and attempting to turn it into “theirs” alone, strikes me as evidence that we should not let them have it, per my recollection, nothing says we’ve got to give them any quarter. It would also seem that the over-legalistic mindset, (and not implying any one group here, as many have fallen into doing this… in more modern history this bad practice started with the so-called “puritans”, who, in their pride would even shun the likes of Christmas, hating the generosity of their neighbors, that is, gift giving. Later the jehovahs witnesses picked up this practice along with other factions whose contempt for their fellow man became their modus operandi, in contrast to John 3:16.) and the hiding out by many believers has been largely responsible for halloween being co-opted, I think, for when those who serve Good do nothing, what opposition is there, then, against evil? Many certainly meant well, and wanted to honor God, and thought that such was the best way to go about doing so, and yet in so doing, they made themselves ineffective, and allowed evil to run free on that night, unopposed, except for those few who did have the courage to pray against the evilness, at least. I would also encourage others to similarly oppose the “hell house” insanity which the devil has tricked some into doing around this time, some of which are just as bad as the devilish factors.

I doubt that halloween has solely been responsible for the increase in witchcraft however, (Granted, it has certainly been exploited as a recruitment opportunity.) theres so many things that push that from print & digital feminist rags, to movies & other pop entertainment media, this problem entered into a next phase (after the 60’s era phase one I would suppose.) around the 90’s when wicca was pushed extremely hard, and movies such as “the craft” & later in the 00’s “scooby doo and the witch’s ghost” (which was effectively a long paid advertisement for wicca.) came out adding to the popularity thereof, these people who got deceived then had children, and raised them according to the malarkey of wicca & witchcraft, these in turn also affected their peers through schools, leading to the trends we see now.

All things considered though, I encourage others here to take this opportunity to do good, even if you pray a bit for protection of the children & adults, or show kindness to a child who does show up at your door dressed up as something. (I would suggest asking God/Christ for guidance on what to do with that situation) If you otherwise decide to stay indoors, any little bit of prayer etc. helps… Be Bold, and give the devil no quarter, take James 4:7 into consideration. There is also nothing saying that you can’t Gideon it up a bit either.
