UN admits the sun may cause global warming

Skeptics of anthropogenic (man-made) global warming have been saying for years now, that if the Earth indeed is warming — which is also disputed (see “Global Cooling for Last 10 Years” and “Climategate scientist: no global warming since 1995“) — the cause is not human but rather solar activities.

The United Nations’  Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the world’s most powerful proponent of both global warming (now called “climate change”) and man-made global warming. The IPCC’s report on global warming even garnered a Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, which the UN body shared with climate hypocrite-fraudster Al Gore.

But the IPCC report was found to be riddled with mistakes: The Himalayan glaciers are not melting. The Amazon rain forest are not disappearing. And it’s 20%, not 55%, of the Netherlands that is below sea level.

Now another report by the same IPCC finally admits what some scientists have been saying for years — our Sun’s activities may play a significant role in global warming!

Maxim Lott reports for FoxNews, February 01, 2013, that a leaked draft of an upcoming report by the United Nations’ IPCC says that heat from the sun may play a larger role than previously thought: “[Results] do suggest the possibility of a much larger impact of solar variations on the stratosphere than previously thought, and some studies have suggested that this may lead to significant regional impacts on climate.”

The report was leaked by StopGreenSuicide blogger Alec Rawls, who told FoxNews.com that the U.N.’s statements on solar activity were his main motivation for leaking the document.

Rawls first leaked the report last December. He wrote on his blog: “The public needs to know now how the main premises and conclusions of the IPCC story line have been undercut by the IPCC itself.”

He also blames the U.N. for burying its point about the effect of the sun in Chapter 11 of the report: “Even after the IPCC acknowledges extensive evidence for … solar forcing beyond what they included in their models, they still make no attempt to account for this omission in their predictions. … It’s insane.”

Despite the IPCC’s admission, some climatologists still say that the report is important, but not game-changing.

Pat Michaels, the former president of the American Association of State Climatologists, and current director of the Center for the Study of Science at the Cato Institute, said: “The solar component is real but not of sufficient magnitude to have driven most of the warming of the late 20th century.” Michaels also points out that the U.N. report says the effect of solar activity will be “much smaller than the warming expected from increases in [man-made] greenhouse gases.”

But even Michaels admits that while the Earth had warmed over the last two decades, it did so more slowly than the U.N. had predicted: “Climate science has the problem of trying to explain why we are now in our 17th year without a significant warming trend. As a result, you are seeing many forecasts of warming for this century being ratcheted down.”

Aaron Huertas of the Union of Concerned Scientists says that the focus on solar activity distracts from the big picture — the fact that the Earth is warming: “I see climate contrarians try this trick almost every time a big new solar study comes out. They somehow tend to neglect mentioning that solar variation is smaller than the heat-trapping power of carbon dioxide. The basic evidence is that solar activity has varied a bit while global temperature keeps going up.”

Blogger Rawls argues what should really worry us is not global warming, but global cooling, due to a fall in solar activity: “Unlike warming, cooling really is dangerous, regularly dropping the planet into hundred-thousand-year-long glacial periods.”

An estimate from NASA said that solar variations caused 25% of the 1.1 degree Fahrenheit warming that has been observed over the past century. NASA has said that there is evidence that the most recent “Little Ice Age” was caused by a dip in solar activity: “Almost no sunspots were observed on the sun’s surface during the period from 1650 to 1715. This extended absence of solar activity may have been partly responsible for the Little Ice Age in Europe,” during which temperatures were colder by about 1.8 degrees F than they are today.

Global Warming, man-made or sun-made, is no idle chatter among scientists.

Global Warming has very serious implications and consequences because it is used by very powerful forces in our world, behind the façade of the United Nations, to push for Agenda 21 — a blueprint for global political control.

The number 21 refers to an agenda for the 21st Century. In the name of environmentalism and sustainability, Agenda 21 is a comprehensive blueprint of action to be taken globally, nationally, and locally by organizations of the UN, governments, and major groups in every area in which humans directly affect the environment.

A report by the Royal Academy of Engineering warns that a solar “superstorm” will hit Earth some time in the near future, knocking out  communications satellites, and cause dangerous power surges in the national grid and disrupt crucial navigation aids and aircraft avionics. But it’s impossible to predict more than about 30 minutes before it actually happens. Solar superstorms are estimated to occur once every 100 or 200 years, with the last one hitting the Earth in 1859.

Obama says your success is due to dumb luck

First, he tells America’s entrepreneurs and businesses that “You didn’t build that!”

Now, the POS is telling every American who has achieved financial success, not only “You didn’t build that!,” but “You didn’t earn that!”

Conservative Byte reports that on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, Obama was campaigning in Fairfax, Virginia, and said this:

“We don’t believe anybody is entitled to success in this country.”

H/t FOTM’s beloved moxielouise

The background of the POS’s remarkable statement is traceable to a speech he made in 2005, in which he declared that any success an American has in the private sector is due to “blind luck” and piggy-backing on “a generation of women doing someone else’s laundry and looking after someone else’s children to get you here.”

Aaron Klein reports for WND that Obama said that in his keynote address at the Harvard Law School Association “Celebration of Black Alumni” Award Luncheon on Sept. 17, 2005, in which he was the recipient of that year’s award.

During a question-and-answer session after his speech, Obama spelled out what he called a “major ideological battle taking place right now in this country,” which he believed “we can win.”

Arguing for a larger role for government in health care, retirement and national infrastructure, Obama caricatured the free-market system as “the ownership society” where “We are all in it by ourselves.” As he portrayed it, the free-market system is a dog-eat-dog social Darwinian world where we each sink or swim with no outside help: “Retirement? Retirement account. Figure out how much you can save. It doesn’t matter that your wages haven’t gone up in four, five years. It doesn’t matter that you are being squeezed by all sorts of costs from $3-a-gallon gasoline to the costs of higher education for your child. You figure out how to save.”

Obama took a direct shot at successful Americans, mocking their achievements as “blind luck”: “that idea (of an ownership society) … it’s particularly attractive, I think, for those of us who are successful, because it allows us to be self-congratulatory and say, in fact, the cream rises to the top. You know. Look how well we did. Everybody can do what we did. Denying the role of blind luck that played in getting everybody here. Or the sacrifices of a generation of women doing someone else’s laundry and looking after someone else’s children to get you here.”

Obama then proposed to replace his caricature of a free-market system with a government-run system: “But the market fails sometimes and where it fails we have got to help people because that is what has always been done. … You know the railroads didn’t just appear.”

I’ll play armchair psychiatrist: Obama is projecting his life history onto us. It is his success that’s all due to blind dumb luck.

In my post of September 24, 2012, “B.S. Obama’s entire life is a lie,” I point out that Barry and Mooch (the latter in her speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention) like to portray him as having come from poverty. In his books, speeches and media interviews — [cue the plaintive wails of violin strings!] — Obama claims to have grown up in a broken home with a single mom, struggled for years as a child in an impoverished Third World country (Indonesia), and then was raised by his grandparents in difficult circumstances.

But the truth is Barry Soetoro Barack Hussein Steven Dunham Obama grew up in privilege. He was born to a maternal grandmother (Madelyn Dunham) who was the vice president of a bank in Honolulu. From ages 6 to 10, B.S. Obama lived in the home of his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, in an exclusive section of Jakarta, Indonesia. The family was so well off that they hired a gay transvestite nanny to look after boy Obama.

As recounted in the Washington Examiner‘s Special Report “The Obama You Don’t Know,” when he was 10 years old, mommy sent him back to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents who paid for his education at the costly elite private Punahou School — one of the most expensive schools in Hawaii — which Obama attended from 1971 to 1979. Obama admitted in his memoir, Dreams From My Father, that his grandfather had pulled strings to get him into Punahou: “There was a long waiting list, and I was considered only because of the intervention of Gramps’s boss, who was an alumnus.”

After he graduated from Punahou, Obama went across the Pacific Ocean to attend the private Occidental College in Southern California. Today, tuition for a full-time student at Occidental College is $43,490 per year, which doesn’t include room-and-board and the costs of books and supplies.

After two years at Occidental, Obama transferred to another expensive private university, Columbia University, where no student or faculty can remember ever having seen him in the two years he supposedly spent there. After he graduated from Columbia, Obama went to yet another expensive university for his law school — Harvard University.

By his own account, Obama was a mediocre student in high school and college who lived a “party” lifestyle of cocaine and booze. Since he refuses to make public his college records, including his GPAs at Occidental, Columbia University, and Harvard Law School, as well as his SAT and LSAT scores, we can assume that those records are lackluster because, being the grandiose narcissist that he is, he would most certainly make known those records if they were sterling.

After Harvard Law, he taught for 12 years at University of Chicago Law School as a part-time lecturer (NOT professor!). Despite Time magazine gushing in 2008 about Obama being “a rock-star professor with hordes of devoted students,” his law student evaluations show him to be a mediocre teacher. After his first two years of teaching, his popularity fell steadily. In 1999, Obama was the third-lowest-ranked lecturer at Chicago Law School that year, with only 23% of students saying they would repeat his racism class. By 2003, only a third of the student evaluators recommended his classes.

And, unlike others on the Chicago Law School faculty who published numerous articles in legal journals, Obama’s byline did not appear in a single legal journal while he taught there. Nor did he publish any articles in legal journals before and after his stint at Chicago Law School, which is puzzling for someone touted as “the smartest man ever.”

While he was teaching part time at Chicago Law, he served one singularly undistinguished term in the Illinois State Senate. According to Gov Track.us: “From Jan 2005 to Oct 2008, Obama missed 314 of 1300 recorded or roll call votes, which is 24.0%. This is worse than the median of 2.4%.”

Then he was elected to the U.S. Senate where, after having served only two lackluster years, he decided to run for president and became his party’s nominee. During the 2008 presidential campaign, he was hailed as messiah and compared to Jesus, despite his mediocrity and in spite of his pro-abortion and pro-infanticide positions that are the antithesis of Christ. With just a vague campaign slogan of “Hope and Change,” millions of Americans projected their dreams and fantasies onto this man whom the media deliberately failed to vet, and elected him President of the most powerful country on Earth.

After just 9 months as president, without a single foreign policy achievement, he was “awarded” the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

In other words, when Obama decries success as due to blind dumb luck, he was describing himself. For surely, his astonishing successes are not due to any excellence on his part.

Yes indeed, Obama. You didn’t build that! And you most certainly didn’t earn, don’t deserve, and are not entitled to your success.

Look at this lady – Let us never forget

Irena Sendlar

The world hasn’t just become wicked…it’ s always been wicked. The prize doesn’t always go to the most deserving
Irena Sendler
There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena.
During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist.
She had an ‘ulterior motive’.
She KNEW what the Nazi’s plans were for the Jews (being German).
Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids).

She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.
The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.
During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.
She was caught, and the Nazi’s broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely.
Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.
After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family.
Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize.
She was not selected.
President Obama won one year before becoming President for his work as a community organizer for ACORN
and
Al Gore won also— for a slide show on Global Warming.

More Al Gore Hypocrisy

Is there anyone with half a brain who still believes in Global Warming profiteer and über hypocrite Al Gore — he who owns 4 huge energy-gobbling mansions, flies around in carbon-emitting jet planes, and gropes hotel masseurs?

Frankly Sir, You Are an Embarrassment

By Einar Du Rietz – CFACT.eu – October 27, 2010

Al Gore — He did it again.

Recently, Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore toured again. Or maybe he does that all the time. This time, he turned up in Gothenburg (Sweden) for the usual alarmist talk. In advance, all distinguished guests were politely advised to – if possible – use any form of public transportation to go to the event, in order to minimize CO2 emissions.

Intriguingly, the Master of World Climate himself arrived in a rental car (with or without driver is unclear), from the airport, and subsequently left the engine running for the entire lecture. That is to say, about one hour. Incidentally, local legislation prohibits – for very good environmental reasons, i. e. pollution – any car engine running on empty for more than 60 seconds. Fines are severe. As far as I know, he was not fined.

It starts to form a pattern.

After the ceremony in the Norwegian capital Oslo, it is customary that the laureate is invited to the Swedish capital Stockholm, for a cordial visit. The train ride, supposedly the environmental choice according to Mr. Gore, is approximately four hours. However, he opted for the cosier ride with one of the Swedish government aircrafts. As these can, according to the rules, only be used when a cabinet member is on board – and as the Swedish government after a short ceremonial visit – offered to fly him to Frankfurt (Germany) for his flight to the US, you can calculate both the manpower and the fuel used for this grand tour against man’s destruction of the planet.

Stupidity and hypocricy – as well as vanity – are, like it or not common human traits. I admit to some of them occasionally, but I don’t demand taxpayers to finance my stupid talks at dinner (yes, I love doing that). Here’s the deal Mr Gore: get out of my way, and I will keep out of yours.
