First your honor for the record neither I nor anyone else knows what happened between Zimmerman and Martin.

That does not stop this Typical Liberal self-loathing white woman from acting as if she does. I’ll Highlight a few of her statements . If Zimmerman is acquitted and if there is violence it will be because of people like her. Words have meaning and consequences.  She is also dealing with a man’s (Zimmerman) life. To use the words she does is….the height of irresponsibility. Hell they are down right lies.

————————————————————————————————-

Rachel Jeantel

Rachel Jeantel

A predominantly white jury is not going to like Rachel Jeantel. Let’s just be real here.

The 19-year-old Miami native is an easy target for obvious, yet shallow reasons. But let’s not forget why she’s actually on the stand in George Zimmerman‘s second degree murder trial. Rachel was the last person to speak to a living, breathing Trayvon Martin. The guilt, shame and sorrow she must feel is something most of us will never be able to comprehend. You could hear it in her voice, see it in her jittery body language. She is feeling the wrath of this highly publicized case.

Rachel was thrown head first into this murder story, unwillingly. And although she had repeatedly said she did not want to be a witness, did not even want to believe she was the last person Trayvon spoke to, Rachel took the stand for all the right reasons. She was asked to by the family of her deceased friend and feeling part of the burden for his death, she wanted to help.

Rachel was raw, emotional, aggressive and hostile, and she was unapologetically herself.

And if the 5 white jurors (excluding the 1 Latina) are like most white people I know, they are unfortunately not going to like Rachel. They won’t understand her, especially not her defensive nature, and this will unfortunately work against her. Even though it shouldn’t.

I can imagine George Zimmerman’s defense is just hoping some of those 5 white jurors have some prejudices (as most people do), or hell, are even racist, because if they are, their tactic to make Rachel out to be less intelligent, rather than less credible than she actually is, might actually work.

Less intelligent and more confused.

Less intelligent because of the “language barrier” and more confused because of the lawyers’ failure to understand who Rachel is, where she comes from, what kind of life she lives.

It seems the middle-aged white men on both sides of this case are totally unaware of what Rachel’s life is like – a 19-year-old high school student of Haitian descent who knows nothing more than the few block radius she has grown up in. The cultural differences here are exponential.

But if the lawyers, and especially the jurors, were really listening, they would see that although she comes off aggressive, Rachel was consistent. Yes, the defense proved she had lied in the past, but she didn’t deny it. On the contrary. She was very honest about it, and even led us to sympathize with her reasoning for it – she did not want to see Trayvon’s body, she did not want to face Trayvon’s mother and she wanted to wipe her hands of the situation because of the emotion and trauma. She was the last person Trayvon spoke to and she wanted everyone to understand what that means. This is in no way easy for her.

Rachel is the prosecution’s key witness, but I am going to call her the misunderstood witness. She holds vital information that both the defense and prosecution need, but these middle-aged white men questioning her do not get it. Sadly both the prosecution and the defense [but more so the defense] have an extreme disconnect from her reality, like I said. The constant text messaging between her and Trayvon is normal for two high school kids who may like each other, the nonchalant use of racial slurs like “cracka” and “n*gga” are

( If “cracka and n*gga” are not racist, just slang. Why did writer not use nigga)

slang (as Rachel put it) and that doesn’t mean it comes from a racist place.

Trayvon was just 17, his life consisted of text messaging, high school, PS3, girls and not much else. He had a lot of growing up to do, a lot of experiences to take in, so much more to learn, but sadly, he will never get a chance to do any of those things.

Rachel on the other hand will get to, but with her immaturity displayed on the stand for the whole world to see, she quickly became a joke. Maybe we were picturing Trayvon’s alleged girlfriend to be a bit different, but nevertheless, Rachel still is the last person, aside from George Zimmerman, that Trayvon had any contact with while he was alive on this earth. Rachel’s mumbling, hostility and that reference to the show First 48, among other things, threw us for a loophole, but let’s remember, she is just a teen. This is what she knows. This is far from a Lifetime movie, this is her life. In the flesh, but still on our TVs.

I cried when she described the feeling of realizing she was the last person Trayvon spoke to, cringed at her blatant honesty, laughed when she spoke back to the attorneys and even had to turn my volume down throughout different phases of her testimony because of sheer discomfort.

Rachel was authentic, nervous and extremely herself. She did, after all, hear her friend, a minor, get killed in cold blood.

Excuse the hell out of me, but if memory serves the testimony was she was talking to him and the phone went CLICK!!!!!

She heard nothing and the writer has just lied thru her teeth.

And her involvement, from what we can tell, became dragged out beyond anything she ever wanted.

Her hostility is making more sense now.

Rachel’s collision with Zimmerman’s attorney Don West was uncomfortable to watch. They didn’t get each other. I even thought at one point they were going to call in some type of translator. Yes, she mumbled, but the amount of times she was asked to repeat herself, speak up and slow down proved that they were indeed speaking different languages. But let’s be honest. Rachel Jeantel’s attitude is exactly what I would expect from someone from the hood who has no media training and who is fully entrenched in a hostile environment.

There’s nothing wrong with it.

A few different times while watching this trial I’ve gotten caught up in the entertainment of it all, like a movie I don’t want to miss the ending to. But this isn’t a movie, and although Don West did kick off his opening argument with a “Knock-Knock” joke, it’s not meant to be entertainment. And definitely not funny.

This is truly a life and death situation. Rachel was on the phone with Trayvon moments before he got murdered while walking home from a 7-11, back to “his Daddy’s house,” as Rachel so eloquently put it. Aside from George Zimmerman, Rachel was Trayvon’s last communication on this earth.

Can Rachel help prove that Trayvon was attacked by George Zimmerman? What are your thoughts? Tweet with me. @RachelSamara

I made the mistake of reading comments yesterday and even got into a few brawls. It’s frightening how stupid and racist those people are. There are about 3,000 comments…scary.

I tried to find contact info for this nitwit so I could blast her. All I found was twitter acct, I don’t twitter..      ~Steve~

A Little Techie Stuff. How To Recover Lost Pics And Vids

You may just be a goof like me and hit the wrong button.   Hey it was an accident. Know what? I froze, I googled, and I found a program and got files back. Now if you read this there could be other reasons you want/need them back. Good luck                          ~ Steve~

WANT TO KNOW HOW TO RECOVER DELETED PHOTOS AND VIDEO FROM YOUR DEVICES?

May. 9, 2013 10:44am Liz Klimas   www.theblaze.com

—————————————————————————————————-

Last week, the story of parents who had their baby seized by police went viral. Video shows Sacramento Police Department officers entering the home of Anna and Alex Nikolayev without a warrant and saying they were going to “grab” the baby and advising the parents not to resist or fight. The Russian couple’s lawyer though believes law enforcement and child protective services overstepped their bounds.

Now imagine how difficult this portion of the case could be without video evidence. Image if the video and pictures of police taking the baby away were deleted.

Carlos Miller, who runs the Photography Is Not a Crime blog, has had content on his recording equipment deleted a couple times by law enforcement, he believes. And he has a message for those who have had pictures or video deleted by cops or accidentally by themselves: “It doesn’t completely disappear.”

In fact, Miller last year was acquitted from all charges after he was able to recover deleted video showing he was not resisting arrest or breaking any other laws. He is now trying to obtain enough evidence to bring a case against the Miami police department and the individual he believes wrongfully took his camera and deleted its content.

Everything Miller learned about recovering deleted images and video was self-taught from the Web and help from a tech friend. The most important thing to know, he said, is to not take any more photos or video if you believe your content has been deleted.

Once you realize that video has been deleted, put your camera aside and figure out a way to recover it,” he said.

There are programs that can help you recover such content. Pictures are easier to get back than video due to the size.

For photos stored on Millers Sandisk memory card, the program recommended that he used is RescuePro. Video was a bit tricker because it took longer to sift through all the recovered content to find the portions he was looking for, but he used the program PhotoRec.

Just recently Alex Heid with Federal Jack and HackMiami went through this process when his own video, which deleted allegedly by Miami police upon his arrest. He details in this video how he recovered his footage:

Even better than going through any of this process though is to not put yourself in a situation where your footage could be deleted in the first place. The easiest way to protect against this is by password protecting your phone, which is the device Miller said the average citizen

would likely be using to film or take pictures these days.

Another recommendation Miller had was to consider using an app that would automatically begin transferring pictures and video into cloud storage. On a PINAC forum is a discussion on just these types of programs.

One user with an Android phone suggests Bambuser and Dropbox.

Dropbox will automatically upload video (or pictures) when off button is pushed or recording stopped. Just make sure the app is running in the background. Not live streaming, will only upload after recording stopped,” rick wrote. “Bambuser is live streaming and will continue to record and upload even after off button is pushed. Unsent data is saved to phone and can be uploaded later to complete video record. As always, test these apps under different situations and know their ins and outs.”

Dropbox, another user cautions though, won’t upload video on iOS devices unless the user is connected to WiFi, but it will do so through a data package on Android.

So, whether you accidentally hit the trash button or if your photos and video were purposefully deleted, these are methods you can recover or preserve your data.

Miller’s ultimate goal is to change a mentality he thinks some officers have when it comes to “creating their own truth.”

Cops have to rethink that they can’t just create their own truth anymore,” Miller said.

Posted: 06/18/2012 2:32 pm Updated: 06/19/2012 9:03 am From Huffpo,

Yea I know. Hey they bought AOL.  ——–    ~Steve~  ————————-

A Miami teen who was impaled in the forehead in a spearfishing gun accident in early June is very, very lucky, according to surgeons who were able to remove the long piece of metal that was lodged all the way through his brain.
16-year-old Yasser Lopez is recovering well; doctors with Jackson Memorial Hospital said at a press conference Monday he will likely rehabilitate without additional surgery.

According to a report given to Jackson doctors, the two teens were not underwater when the spear gun Lopez’s friend was holding discharged.
Doctors say the report noted that both boys “woke up” to find that Lopez had a spear in his forehead, suggesting that Lopez lost consciousness initially and that the friend may have passed out in shock.
According to the hospital, the fishing spear entered Lopez’s head about an inch above his right eye.
Dr. George Garcia displayed an X-ray of Lopez’s skull that shows the spear went all the way through his head at an angle and exited the other side.
“It’s a striking injury, something you don’t see everyday — a patient arriving awake and speaking with a 3-foot spear through his head,” Garcia said. “The first obstacle is to not be distracted by the obvious sensational aspect of the injury.”
Although Lopez was alert when he initially arrived at Ryder, Garcia said after about a minute, he became agitated, flailing and yelling out in Spanish.

In order to prevent the spear from causing second injury, Lopez was chemically paralyzed.
Staff consulted with Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Team’s tactile unit to decide how to remove the protruding 3 feet of spear so that Lopez could fit into a CT scan. In the end, they used a rebar cutter and vise-gripes to “stabilize the spear” while they shortened it.
Dr. Ross Bullock, director of clinical neurotrauma at Jackson’s Ryder Trauma Center and professor of neurological surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, said that amazingly, the spear missed the vital structures and major vessels of Lopez’s brain.
Doctors interviewed Lopez’s family and learned that the spear had an unscrewable tip so during a 3-hour surgery, surgeons were able to carefully remove the spear without causing more injury. They also placed an artificial sleeve around the tip so that the spear’s barb would not deploy.
Bullock said Lopez is now sitting up in bed and speaks a little, commenting on his pain level and lack of feeling in his left side. Lopez will leave the Intensive Care Unit Monday and faces 2 to 3 months of rehab.
Garcia noted that the fact that he arrived alert and speaking is a very good prognosis sign.
Bullock said they expect his high mental function could be normal. “The problems we expect are weakness in the left arm and leg, but luckily he’s right-handed.”
Bullock added that Lopez’s “mother’s never left his side. They are an amazingly supportive family.”

America’s 10 Most Promiscuous Cities

Phioto credit: Peter Keusgen

According to data from the free dating site OKCupid, which The Boston Globe calls “the Google of online dating,” Portland, Oregon, has the distinction of being America’s sluttiest city.

Amy Rolph writes for the seattlepi, August 19, 2011, that OKCupid arrived at this determination by mapping where site users seeking “causal sex” are located. Those numbers were converted to percentages to determine which cities are the most promiscuous.

Here are the top 10 sluttiest cities in America:

  1. Portland, Oregon
  2. Seattle, Washington
  3. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  4. Miami, Florida
  5. San Francisco, Calif.
  6. Dallas, Texas
  7. San Bernardino, Calif.
  8. Denver, Colorado
  9. San Diego, Calif.
  10. Houston, Texas

Sign In Front of a Business in Florida !

How dare they...ohh, umm wait, My bad.

This sign was prominently displayed in front of a business in Florida and you are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory sign.

However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps one of our greatest liberties.
And after all, it is only a sign, right?

You may ask: “What kind of business would dare post such a sign?”

Wait For It…..

Keep Going. :D

C'mon stay with me.

Most Dangerous Cities in America

We have good news and bad news.

The good news is that, according to FBI statistics, crime is down in the United States for the 5th year in a row. The statistics for 2010 show a 5.5% drop in violent crimes compared to last year. An example is St. Louis, Mo. — last year’s most violent city — saw an impressive 18% decrease in violent crime.

The bad news is that in certain parts of the country, things are getting much worse.

For example, Flint, Michigan — which has the dubious distinction of being the most violent city in America in 2010 — saw a 10% increase in violent crime over last year, with 2,208 violent crimes per 100,000 people.

Here are the 25 most violent cities in America, ranked by the number of violent crimes (murder, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault) per 100,000 people. The source of this list is an article by Leah Goldman in the Business Insider, May 23, 2011. But the article leaves out an interesting fact.

On average, blacks make up 12.9% of the overall U.S. population. On a hunch I looked up each of the 25 cities on Wikipedia, to find out the racial demographics of each. I found that, with the exception of Miami and Stockton, the percentage of blacks is above the national average in every one of the remaining 23 most violent cities.
