U.S. soldiers in open rebellion against Obama’s war in Syria

6

As the two duplicitous heads (Boehner, Reid) of the two useless houses of the self-serving Congress fall into lockstep behind Pres. Lucifer, clamoring for “a military strike” war against Syria, no one cares about how either the American people (who will have to bear stratospheric increases in gas prices) or our soldiers (who risk being maimed or killed) think or feel.

More and more of those service members, however, are risking punishment by speaking out.

Michael Snyder reports for Activist Post, Sept. 2, 2013, that U.S. Representative Justin Amash recently sent out a tweet with the following message: “I’ve been hearing a lot from members of our Armed Forces. The message I consistently hear: Please vote no on military action against .”

Business Insider asked members of the military to write to them and tell them what they thought about a potential conflict with Syria. 50 of the 52 members of the military who responded were against war with Syria. The following is one example:

I’m a U.S. Air Force vet who spent a solid 6 years shuttling between Afghanistan and Iraq, doing everything from combat airdrops to medevacs to hauling flag-draped coffins,” wrote one servicemember in an email, who also mentioned travel to 38 countries in that time. “What we do not need is another war, and we certainly do not need any further involvement in a civil war where our objective isn’t clear, and our allies aren’t really our allies.

And it is not just the rank and file that are against war with Syria. According to the Washington Post, many among the top military brass are expressing “serious reservations” about taking action in Syria:

The Obama administration’s plan to launch a military strike against Syria is being received with serious reservations by many in the U.S. military, which is coping with the scars of two lengthy wars and a rapidly contracting budget, according to current and former officers. Having assumed for months that the United States was unlikely to intervene militarily in Syria, the Defense Department has been thrust onto a war footing that has made many in the armed services uneasy, according to interviews with more than a dozen military officers ranging from captains to a four-star general.

This is not about being reflexively anti-war. This is about not wanting to shed American blood in an Islamic civil war where neither side is our friend. Anyone who believes that the Syrian rebels are the “good guys” is being delusional.

None other than the U.S. State Department has admitted that the al-Nusra Front rebels are a terrorist organization that is affiliated with al-Qaeda.

Even the head of al-Qaeda says that the Syrian rebels are working for his side. In an audio recording on Thursday, Al Qaeda’s leader Ayman al-Zawahri announced his support for the Syrian rebels and stated that the overthrow of the Assad regime is a “necessary” step towards the ultimate objective of the defeat of Israel: “Supporting jihad in Syria to establish a Muslim state is a basic step towards Jerusalem.”

Neither Obama nor those in Congress are stupid. So I can only assume they have their own mysterious malevolent reasons. But our military service members would have to be insane to want to put their lives on the line to help al-Qaeda take over Syria.

And they increasingly are speaking out.

It began with this U.S. Navy petty officer who had his picture taken wearing his dress uniform but obscuring his face because he’s risking a court martial and/or expulsion for publicly defying his Commander In Chief:

No war in Syria

The Navy officer was quickly joined by a Marine sergeant:

MarineThen other service members flooded a new Twitter hashtag (#IDidntJoin) with messages their displeasure with the idea of being forced to fight for al-Qaeda in Syria.

Below are photos taken from #IDidntJoin Twitter of more U.S. military service members publicly declaring that they do not want war with Syria.

Not a single drop of precious American blood should ever be shed for al-Qaeda. Join the Twitter hashtag (#IDidntJoin) anti-SyriaWar movement by posting a pic of yourself with a sign supporting our men and women in the military!

  5. Friends, this is the most brilliantly effective war protest ever, as it is BY warriors and FOR warriors, which is as it should be!

As a Christian pacifist, I am all for honouring all our relationships with the minimum of violence, to the greatest extent possible, as long as humanly possible. But when you’ve turned both cheeks, and both were slapped, then how best to deal with infinite evil?

In every human life there comes a time when an event or action is so utterly egregious, one so demeaning of every ethical value we hold dear, that We, the People, must at last stop and declare “Enough! We’’ve come this far, but the road is wrong; it is time to stop.” We admit that we’ve endured this false President long enough, and we accept our failure to stop him earlier. But no more: this cannot go on.

We must be ready to endure the violence inflicted upon us for supporting those men and women who’ve gone before us, and declared themselves. We MUST honour their stance, which is the right and moral one, even if we suffer more than we have to date. We cannot do less than they have already done!

Birth is a very violent process; so much so that at times the mother may die, yet her child will live. Now our nation is at such a perilous time, one brought on by the very one who had it in his power to AVERT such a calamity! Was ever treason so plainly flaunted? He wants a war that violates the very Nuremberg Conventions on War that the US created after WW2; but will this satisfy him? NO!

Rejected by We, the People, he now demands that the Congress cave to his vile folly and support him, though virtually every nation on Earth rejects it, and refuses to send men or materials. Does he not realise that he now stands alone, just as Hitler did, before invading Poland? Apparently not, for as we were warned, ‘”Pride goes before a Fall,”” and as a Muslim, why would he read the Bible?

His reign will be known as a national train wreck eight years in the making: “Look about, and see what he has wrought!”

All we get is huge photos of John Kerry et al selling the lousy strike to congress and our leaders going along with it. Doesn’t anyone smell a rat.

  8. As an army brat, I grew up to love this country. But psychopaths have taken it over and want to shed blood, yours and those of others to maintain their evil reign. May their deception be plain to all. May you have eyes to see and ears to hear. May the Lord protect your heart and mind. I pray the forces of the Almighty shield you from those with evil intent. May their snares ensnare them. May your way be blessed and your path righteous, I pray.

  17. The US has supported the ‘rebels’ knowing full well that the bulk of the real fighters were militant Sunni Islamic foreigners funded by Saudi & Qatar (US key allies) paid through the Kuwait banking sector.
The bands of Chechen/Libyan/ Saudi etc militants that cross over into Syria via Turkey (another key regional US ally) don’t just arrive by chance or themselves, they have regional handlers and a series of transit camps throughout Southern Turkey to get them into Syria to fight Assad’s actual Syrian populated army.
Likewise the Saudi’s were reliably reported to be buying up ex Yugoslav weapons – hardware like anti tank recoilless field artillery no less – in Croatia & shipping it through Turkey into Syria for the mercenaries two years ago. These particular weapons have manufacturing codes that can actually be identified in some images the Sunni militants in Syria have posted online.
These militants are both hard core extremists and mercenaries who pursue violence, more often than not against civilians, that they can murder and terrorise through violence and kidnapping at will under their control.
Make no mistake the ‘rebels’ now are foreigners paid by Saudi Arabia & Qatar, with full knowledge of USA, to enter Syria & kill actual Syrians in Syria, with endgame policy of achieving a goal of Syrian regime change.
It has been a disastrous agenda & Saudi & Qatari officials should be held responsible with international war crimes charges for transporting their Sunni militant mercenaries into Syria.

Just cut & paste this into your browser, you’ll be blown away by what you read about US attempts to get regime change in Syria since the 1950’s:
