We need more commercials like this

Watch this, and see if you agree!

It is said Norm Miller, the CEO of Interstate Batteries, is responsible for this refreshing commercial.

Some comments on this video’s YouTube page deride the commercial, e.g., “What does God have to do with Interstate Batteries?” To which another commenter has the perfect response: Sex is used in commercials. What does sex have to do with car batteries and other products?

I’d never heard of Interstate Batteries, but I sure do now!

Here’s their contact info:

It really is our choice, how we treat each other.

  1. So true…

  2. Well, THAT was a complete and pleasant surprise!! Those batteries are very popular w/independent mechanics here in Victoria, as opposed to the ones supplied by the vehicle maker or Sears, for example. My mechanic just put a new one in my truck, so now I’m curious to see what make it!

  3. How refreshing! I wonder how they ever got it by the censors?

  4. I’ve heard of Interstate Batteries, they been out for a very long time. They also sponsor a Joe Gibbs car in NASCAR (from Pontiac back in the day to Toyota now) known for their signature “green” interstate battery paint scheme.

I was glad to see this.

  5. You mean it wasn’t a conspiracy? Tragedy, Hoax……
    How refreshing. I’m cooked. LOL

  6. I like it. :)

  7. BRAVO!!! That is what we need more of.

  9. Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this wonderful post! God’s love shown through us and treating people with kindness is the answer! Pray for your enemies and anyone who has hurt you; it is the supernatural heavenly kindness and is POWERFUL!

  10. Now that was a pleasure! For a second there, I wasn’t sure if the kid at the beginning was going to mug that cute little lady for her handbag, but silly me — something POSITIVE happened! Again … and again … and AGAIN! Yes, we need more of this, and after I call the CS number to let them know this ad is awesome, I’m hunting down local dealers who carry their batteries. Let’s hear it for Kindness, Compassion, and Common Decency!!!
