Regarding Conspiracy Theories

FEMA Camps, Freemasons, Illuminati, Bohemian Grove, False Flag, and all their vile cousins are terms that haunt us (me). They sometimes make sleep hard to find. Some people whistle thru the graveyard; I prefer to renew my courage with God’s word and His fellowship.

Conspiracy is nothing new.

Serpent

Serpent

Ever since the expulsion from the Garden, humans have exhibited a tendency toward conspiracy. In fact, Eve’s and Adam’s original sin was a conspiracy with the serpent, intended to challenge their Creator.

In the book of Proverbs, after the prologue and call to honor the advice of parents, the first “nuts and bolts” piece of advice is to avoid entering into conspiracy!

Proverbs 1 verses 10-19
My son, if sinful men entice you,
    do not give in to them.
  If they say, “Come along with us;
    let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
      let’s ambush some harmless soul;
  let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
    and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
  we will get all sorts of valuable things
    and fill our houses with plunder;
   cast lots with us;
    we will all share the loot”—
my son, do not go along with them,
    do not set foot on their paths;
  for their feet rush into evil,
    they are swift to shed blood.
How useless to spread a net
    where every bird can see it!
  These men lie in wait for their own blood;
    they ambush only themselves!
  Such are the paths of all who go
    after ill-gotten gain;
      it takes away the life
        of those who get it.

For me, this sheds an encouraging light on those who choose to resist conspiracies.

  1. Trying to deal with the unmistakable presence of a malevolent unseen hand.

  2. Outstanding post, TD! Thank you for reminding us about the very first conspiracy by the Father of All of Lies.

  3. Outstanding Insight
    Thanks for the posts

  4. Good reflection on today’s postings. The Bible teaches us to be wary of false prophets multiple times and to constantly test those who would lead us away from his path to sin. I take this as not shunning information, but listening and then using the power(talents and skills) of the mind and soul that God gave us to determine good from evil. I also like the passage that for evil to succeed it only takes good men to do nothing (I am paraphrasing it as I cannot presently locate it) and I see so many who just shrug off evil actions and things and “walk by” for fear of liberal cultural condemnation. When we should be more worried about God’s condemnation.

  5. I can imagine the day in heaven after the final judgement when the masses rise-up to overthrow the communist absolute monarchy. But there will be no guns…..
    Think about it.

    • What is a “communist absolute monarchy”? and why would those “in Heaven” undertake an “overthrow”?
      Given your pretentious alias “Phil Osopher” (get it, wink wink), I suppose you are doing a John Milton Paradise Lost? – very poor version, of course.

    • Mr. “Osospher”, your constructs seem to come from something more like Hollywood than either history or the Bible. But then, “Heaven plus rebellion” has indeed happened before. Lucifer led a rebellion and was cast down from heaven. Karl Marx’s philosophy was, at root, luciferian. And Saul Alinski dedicated one of his books to Lucifer.

      I’m just saying, be careful of the company you keep.

  6. I disagree. The Original Sin was Disobedience to God. the vary same sin we continue to commit.

    • You might conclude that beng89, but look at the verses in Genesis, and examine the motivations of the serpent.

      God knows that if you eat this you’ll be like him.

      Eve and Adam were probably not motivated by the desire to supplant God, but having entered into an agreement with the serpent by eating the fruit, all nature including human nature became corrupted.

      Once corrupted, successive generations fell to all kinds of evil, including conspiracies.

      Oddly, instead of becoming more like God, human kind became more like the serpent.

    • beng,

      I disagree. Adam and Eve’s disobedience was because of their sin of narcissistic grandiosity, wanting to be “like god,” which is also the First Sin — that of Lucifer.

      Wanting to be “like god” violates the First Commandment (“Thou shall have no god before Me”) and the Greatest Commandment of all (Love God with your whole heart, your whole mind, your whole soul, and with all your strength”). That must take place first before the act of disobedience of eating from the expressly forbidden fruit.

      Grandiose self-love or pathological narcissism is the worship of oneself, a form of idolatry, and thus in violation of the First Commandment. And if one loves oneself above all else, one is also in violation of the Greatest Commandment.

    an excellent description of both marxism and islam, both are “robber’s creeds”, stealing from those who work and produce, murdering all who will not submit to the theft, and enslaving those who do submit.

    • I agree gunner, and would add as well the mega powerful people like the Bilderbergers, Illuminati and others who embrace ideas like population reduction (read genocide).

  8. Psalms 149, verses 6-9
    Let the high praises of GOD (YAHWEH) be in their mouth, and a 2-edged sword in their hand, 7. To execute vengence upon the nations, and punishments upon the peoples; 8. To bind their kings (presidents) with chains, and their nobles (politicians those who lust for power) with fetters of iron; 9. To execute upon them the judgement written. This honor have all his saints. Praise the LORD (ADONAI).
