Best Buy Responds to Criticism for Supporting CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood

I’m thinking screw Best Buy and find a different store. Screw them.

~ Steve~  ——————————— H/T Grouchy————————–

In defiance of thousands of angry customer protests over its financial contributions as a Platinum Sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated, Hamas-linked pressure group CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), Best Buy flaunts its disdain for the legitimate security concerns of the American buying public.
Catherine previously posted here that Best Buy ignores Christmas to celebrate Muslim holidays!
She writes: That’s kind of like giving the finger to every AMERICAN who would purchase Christmas gifts at their store, isn’t it? Never mind where their loyalties are which don’t happen to be in the U.S. of A.
I would think twice or three times before supporting a business who supports CAIR, HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood.
From barenakedislam:
BEST BUY bows down to Islam again, this time becoming a Platinum Sponsor of Muslim Brotherhood front group, terror-linked CAIR
Think again before buying your next flat-screen television or computing device from Best Buy. Not only do they recognize a Muslim holiday while ignoring Christmas, now the ailing retail giant has become a sponsor of Hamas-linked Islamist Group, CAIR, and refuses to rule out future funding to Islamic radicals.
The struggling retail giant recently used profits from American consumers to fund the annual banquet of a group closely linked to Hamas. The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) recently listed Best Buy as a “Platinum Sponsor.”
Best Buy has refused to rule out future support for CAIR through numerous messages to its public relations department. The big box retailer is already in chaos amid the recent resignation of its CEO for personal misconduct, dwindling sales and bond downgrades.
The United States government named CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” to fund the terrorist group Hamas in America’s most significant terror financing trial. The U.S. also identified CAIR as an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, sharing the common goal of dismantling American institutions and turning the U.S. into a Sharia-compliant, Islamic state through incremental, stealth jihad.
Utterly outrageous, yes. But outrage is not enough. Action is required. The Goal is a commitment from Best Buy to never again use profits from American consumers to finance Islamic radicals.
Here is how you can make a difference:
If you don’t like the idea of your consumer electronics, software and appliance dollars going to fund groups aligned with Hamas and pledged to turning America into a Sharia-compliant, Islamic state, write and/or call Best Buy and let them know.

  1. Here is a perfect reason to simply stop buying their products. Just go somewhere else and get them They have nice stores and they are convenient, however, given the information just presented here, it will be a cold day in hell before I’ll buy anything from these morons. I’ll be voting with my pocket book. I hear they may be closing a lot of stores in the future, so we may as well help them along.

  2. Best Buy has every right to support whomever they choose, just as I have every right to choose to do business or boycott whatever business I choose. They do not need me, and I certainly do not need them.
Do YOU need them? Think long and hard about it.

    • That’s what is so sad about this situation. The nation wants them to just quit sending this horrid group money and then they can go about their business shopping at Best Buy. IMO, it does not matter if they quit supporting this group or not I will NOT shop there anymore! I will NOT give a company my business b/c their pocketbooks were hurting so they changed their minds….I want to take my business to a company that chooses to stand for something b/c it is MORALLY right from the beginning, no matter how much money is lost doing it. Plain and simple.

      • Hello, Miranda! I only now ]Nov 22] came across this entry, and share your feelings about this company. As a long-time self-employed entrepreneur, I cannot understand why BB or any other company would do something so suicidal. I mean, it’s one thing to support the Welcome Wagon or Boy Scouts, for example, but ideology and other self-serving interests do not belong in an honest business. In my entire life I’ve bought only one item from BB, a Sanyo portable radio/cassette player in 1987, when I was employed in Pennsylvania, across the Delaware River from Trenton. In May this year I went into the BB here in Victoria, BC to find a laser printer, and was dismayed by the aggressive sales people and their lack of concern for my needs. Perhaps they were reflecting the tension within the company…. At any rate, I won’t be going back again.

  3. Screw Best Buy…no more shopping there for me!

  4. Their bait-’n-switch sales aren’t much better either.

  5. This is a no-brainer for me. I have shopped at Best Buy as they have always had the best bargains. But principals are more important than saving a few dollars. We don’t want to throw our money to the Beast ! I will do without before I purchase anything at Best Buy again. I just wonder how many other big retailers out there are doing the same thing but just not “outed” yet–. I am finding that many (most?) of the major companies/corporations are owned/controlled by the group at the “top of the pyramid” who are the ones REALLY running our government, and ushering us told a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT,

  6. Just last week, Best Buy announced it’ll be closing 50 stores this year, including 7 in California, 6 in Illinois and 6 in the company’s home state of Minnesota. Complete list of the 50 stores here:;contentBody

Let’s finish this beast off. I will NEVER set foot in a Best Buy store.

  7. One need only close the loop….just as the Unions in Wisconsin
are MAJOR Obama contributers, so too are Hammas and the
Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR. This isn’t incremental Jihad,
this is in your face governmental takeover.

  8. Good for Best Buy!

  9. Dang, our store isn’t closing, but it’s the ONLY place I can “touch and feel” the product, usually computers, that I want to buy, but this is the last straw. I bought this one I’m working on, over the internet, but I had a b&m store to return it to, if I hadn’t liked it. (And it was BB, too.) Damn them for being this way!!!!

Cripes, who knows a good website where the folks don’t give you a raft of doo-doo when you need to deal w/ them, post-sale? That list, if y’all make one by posts here, would help a lot of folks like me that read here. I’d appreciate that. I’ve never gone anywhere else to buy electronics, but I’ve dealt w/ some mighty mangy AWFUL post-sale BS! You’re stuck w/ a POS and they’re laughing up their sleeves! (And usually in a strong accent you’d be hard put to understand!) Heck, who’s even *reputable*??? I’m absolutely serious about asking this.

    • Thank you Grouchy, I never thought about that! D’oh! We have several in our town and that goes right in w/ my effort to stay local anyway. Our city council is fighting to restore our town center, (and up and down fight), and at least 2 of them are right down town, w/in walking distance…if I could walk that far! ;) But that won’t stop me and I know a SMASHING place in Martinsburg too and I KNOW they will answer my questions because they’ve done it and my son was best friends w/ them. I was also directed to someone local by a really cool guy at Geek Squad, and I’ll ask him again. He did a new memory install on this comp when I got it, for free, right then and there. The rest are just egotistical $#&%)!

That’s a smashing idea and I’m ashamed I didn’t already think of it. Thank you Sir! * curtsies*

  10. bu-bye worst buy…thanks you for telling us wordpress…i sent my complaint, did you guys?…

  11. I stopped shopping BB when they no longer stood behind the products they sell.

  13. HAHAHAHA First off, shared this on my FB page just now, recommended all of you highly.
Now I’m reading the comments and I see “Christine” as a poster – oh cool, someone w/ my name… Oh dear God I’m dumb – that’s ME when this was posted back in April!!! *shaking head and laughing ruefully* Mmmm-kaaay! I thought this was a “just now” post, not a repost – tho I’m glad someone did cuz I thought to share it again – always fresh news – and I added the part about shopping locally, remembering Grouchie’s answer to me!

Alright, time to get my butt to bed before I stick a pencil in my eye or something! HAHAHA Happy Turkey Day to a really COOL buncha nice-to-know-you-friends and have a good laugh at my expense! :))

(PS Disregard my icon, for some reason, WordPress on ANY blog is about 4 icons behind. Apparently it wasn’t “an end of an error” – just the beginning. And if WordPress catches up to my current icon and this makes no sense, good for them.)

  14. MONEY from infidels – is OK – w CAIR as a front for The Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS – as TERRORIST organizations – raising money on US soil to fund terrorism..
How quaint. Best Buy will go into bankruptcy.

  15. Why aren’t people boycotting these arseholes!!

  16. Called BBY and complained about this and the lady I spoke to said she knew nothing about this…yet she has, by her very admission, worked for BBY for ten years. She called it “opinion and speculation” and said that, “Best Buy does not support any terrorist groups”. What a bunch of crap. I have canceled my BBY credit card and will never buy from them again!!

    • You won’t have long to wait. Since I posted my first comment, matters have gotten MUCH worse for Best Buy. As I wrote above “As a long-time self-employed entrepreneur, I cannot understand why BB or any other company would do something so suicidal.” Well, I heard from the financial community that BB’s likely into receivership –if not bankruptcy– in 2013. They put on their best front to bring in what money they can on remaining stock. Many suppliers will only ship to them “Cash Only” which is pretty much the end of the line. I’ve never heard of a major business coming back from that position.
