Statement by the President on Roe v. Wade Anniversary

As we mark the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must remember that this Supreme Court decision not only protects a woman’s health and reproductive freedom, but also affirms a broader principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.  I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose and this fundamental constitutional right.  While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue- no matter what our views, we must stay united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant woman and mothers, reduce the need for abortion, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption.  And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.   ###

What a joke! Think of the countless ways government intrudes on private family matters.   ~LTG

  1. OUR PRESIDENT SUPPORTS ALL MODERN ABORTION PROCEDURES..
READ OBAMA CARE WE ARE NOT FREE HUMAN BEINGS IN THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON GOD GREEN EARTH

  2. What article of the Constitution gives you the right to kill a baby?

  3. What about government mandated immunizations from birth?
What about government mandated sex education starting in elementary school or earlier?
What about Michelle’s Childhood Obesity Project monitoring children’s height/weight ratio and family food choices?
What about mandatory “smart meters” that adversely impact the health of family?
What about mandating goofy mercury-filled light bulbs?
The list goes on and on!

    Big Brother, butt out!

  4. To Obama and other “Progressives,” it’s government “intrusion” only when it’s something of which they disapprove. Just as they champion “women’s rights” and blacks’ “civil rights” when it’s about a liberal or Democratic woman or black. Notice there was nary an objection from NOW when men and women wore this hateful anti-Palin t-shirt in 2008:

    Progressive hate women

  5. Just more double-speak from the Dear Ruler.

Anything he says can be flipped around 180 degrees, at which point you will be much closer to the truth.

  6. What would the Suffragettes have thought of Slut Walks?

  7. I would say that the men have the same opportunity as women and vice versa.

Keep it in your pants and keep your knees closed. If you do the crime, you do the time and if you feel you cannot love a child that didn’t ask to be conceived, then give it to someone who is desperate to have the love of a child in their life!

I praise the Lord hat those innocent babies are in the arms of Jesus now! As for me, I have so enjoyed my 2 children and my 6 grandchildren!
